Quick and Easy Ways to Get Cheap Moving Boxes

Quick and Easy Ways to Get Cheap Moving Boxes

Moving to a new home can be a nice event that holds the promise of a new beginning and hopefully, a better life for you and your family. However, it can also be stressful if you don’t plan your move carefully. And, most importantly, it can be very expensive due to the cost of hiring movers. But you can save some money by looking for cheap moving boxes. Of course, with your more fragile and valuable possessions, you don’t want to use cheap boxes that may result in them being damaged in transit. But you can use more affordable moving boxes with the majority of your stuff, which can withstand some rough handling. Here are some tips on how you can get affordable packing boxes.

If you have new neighbors, you might be able to get cheap moving boxes from them. After they’ve unpacked all their belongings, they most likely have a pile of boxes that they no longer have a use for that they would be more than happy to give or sell to you at an affordable price. And, of course, you’re also doing them a favor by saving them from the chore of having to dispose of all those boxes.

Many retail outlets may also sell you cheap moving boxes. These boxes were used to ship goods, but once they’ve unpacked the items and placed them on the store shelves, they no longer have a use for most of these boxes. So they sell them at giveaway prices simply to dispose of them. You can even get some specialized boxes from these outlets, such as boxes that were used to ship computers. If you’re lucky, these boxes may even still come with the original cardboard dividers, which can save you money since you no longer have to buy cushioning for certain items. Some stores may even give them to you for free if you ask, since they were planning to throw these boxes away anyway.

Big chain supermarkets may also offer cheap moving boxes that are more affordable than those offered by specialty moving supplies companies. Of course, you will likely not get a wide variety of specialized boxes, but if you just need regular moving boxes in an assortment of sizes, these supermarkets may be a good bet. They are also a good place to get other affordable moving supplies such as packing tape, brown or butcher paper and bubble wrap.

Finally, the Internet is always a good source of cheap moving boxes. For example, people wanting to get rid of used moving boxes may post ads on online classified ad sites offering these boxes for sale cheaply or, in some cases, even for free. There are also sites that sell cheap used boxes and then, if the boxes are still in good condition after your move, you can sell them back to the site. And there are many online retailers that can afford to sell new boxes and other moving supplies more cheaply than brick-and-mortar retailers since they have a smaller overhead and they pass on the savings on their operating cost to their customers.…

Discover How You Can Excel in Writing Within a Few Minutes

The truth is that there are a lot of folks that communicate poorly through their writing. Even if you might have the best internet business concept or product, for those people who are unable to convey in writing the advantages of utilizing their products or services, they simply won’t earn any income.
Exactly what causes people to be poor communicators?
In my opinion, it all relates to one very simple thing. When writing out directions on how to do something most individuals seem to fail to remember that because they are writing about a topic it means that they know more about the subject than the reader does. Said differently this means when you are writing about something you already know all the necessary steps on how to do get something done or the benefits of using a certain product, whereas the receiver of your message doesn’t and if you don’t communicate clearly they never will. Because of this you will generally discover gaps of missing information that the end reader needs to comprehend what you are trying to tell them.
For example which sentence below is much more descriptive?
Bake the cookies in the oven? OR Preheat the oven to 400 degrees for 10 minutes, spray a cookie sheet with canola oil, divide the cookie batter into 12 small balls, place them on a greased cookie sheet and bake in the oven for 25 minutes?
Of course you wouldn’t tell someone to bake cookies without giving them all the necessary steps to successfully bake them. So why wouldn’t you incorporate that level of specificity into all of your communications? Just like with the cookies, the recipients of your communication are relying on you to obtain the necessary information to complete a task or be compelled to try a product.
The next time that you are trying to write, pretend that you don’t know about the subject or the benefits of what you are writing about. Think about everything that you would need to know, or from a business standpoint what would information would compel you to try a product or service for the very first time? Think about your writing in terms of a recipe. This can be helpful because a recipe breaks everything down specifically by what is required to create it as well as the necessary order that it needs to be done to make it turn out great. Whether you are trying to write a compelling sales pitch or communicate with a co-worker on what needs to be done for a project, using this method will help you to write much more quickly and clearly.…

When to Use Temporary Agency Cleaners – Advice for the Cleaning Business Owner

When to Use Temporary Agency Cleaners – Advice for the Cleaning Business Owner

This article discusses the advantages of utilizing temporary agency staff by cleaning companies for short-term or specialized projects and explores the ways in which you can get the best performance from agency workers.

Many managers of small cleaning companies are reluctant to use agency staff and prefer to find casual staff they employ directly or self-employed cleaners whom they can call upon for day work from time to time. The reasons for this is usually either a matter of hourly rate with agency staff costing more per hour, or perhaps also negative past experience or horror stories they may have heard from colleagues about agency workers. However, there are situations in which it may be advantageous to the small cleaning business owner to engage an agency to provide temporary staff, and these advantages are often unseen or overlooked completely.

An example of this would be the situation where a cleaning company is contacted by a construction firm, at short notice, to carryout the initial builders clean to a large commercial building. Such projects are normally labor-intensive, short-term and quite often the cleaning is staggered over a number of weeks or requires a fluctuating workforce determined by the main contractor as the project progresses rather than set-in-stone in advance of the commence date. A large number of small cleaning companies steer clear of such projects, as their workforce requires the consistent hours of work that permanent contracts provide, or they cannot deal with the varying requirements of builders as they approach handover. However there is money to be made in being able to service the needs of builders by having a flexible workforce as construction cleans can be very profitable indeed. The same goes for one-off warehouse deep cleans, annual deep cleans to schools, post-refurbishment cleans to hotels, bars and restaurants and a vast number of other infrequent or one-off cleaning projects.

A cleaning company with a flexible workforce is one that can take advantage of such profitable projects and develop a reputation in the construction and industrial field for being the cleaning company who can cope with the demands of their respective trades.

This is the where the number one advantage of using an agency comes into play. You now have access to a flexible workforce; a workforce that could consist of 12 cleaners one week and only 1 the next. Should your client make last minute changes to the cleaning plan then you can respond accordingly by increasing or cutting the workforce, and the best part of it is that you won’t be letting anyone down by taking away their work or struggling to fill gaps at the last minute with casual staff having already found work for the week elsewhere.

The other advantage of engaging an agency to supply you with temporary staff is having fast access to skilled, qualified individuals. On a builders clean for example, you may require a window cleaner who has the appropriate certification to operate a scissor lift or cherry picker. Take advantage of the vast range of skilled individuals on an agency’s books.

It is important to recognize that it is your responsibility to get the best out of the temporary workers you bring in. Never assume that agency staff will have the necessary knowledge or skills to ‘just get on with it’, and remember that even experienced cleaners may be trained in cleaning techniques that differ from your way of working. Motivation is important, and feeling as though they are part of the team is key to this as is positive feedback. Take time to explain the ins and outs of the project, including your relationship with the client, why you have been contracted in / the aim of the project, the timeframe, techniques, equipment, materials and chemicals and what you expect to achieve. One of the biggest sources of motivation is making someone feel that they have contributed to achieving an end result. Supervision is vital, although be cautious not to ‘hover over’ or harass your workers. Give them the freedom to work independently after being shown how to do something and check to see if they are OK at fairly frequent intervals. Ask them how they feel they are getting on, and if they would like any help with anything they are unsure of. Agency temps come from all walks of life and you can find yourself in the company of highly skilled individuals who come with a wealth of experience in so many different areas.…

Home Business Ideas – 4 Blogging Tips to Increase Traffic

Blogging is probably one of the best ways to get fresh new content to your website. Search engines look mainly for content. It doesn’t matter how beautiful your website is because when bots crawl your website, they look for keywords and content.
Successful internet marketers blog frequently to get more traffic and thus visitors compared to those who don’t. I’m not saying that blogging is the only thing required to get traffic. But if you are reluctant to spend big bucks on getting traffic, this is one great way to get free traffic to your website. So before you start blogging, I have 4 blogging tips I would like to share with you.
1. Rewrite Existing Articles
You might have hundreds of articles or just 25 on your blog. Sometimes you might run into the problem of not knowing what to write. When you encounter this “writer’s block”, search for inspiration elsewhere. For example, rewriting your previous articles is one way to do it. Doing this can also help give you fresh articles to post onto article directories. Bear in mind there are some article directories which has strict quality control, so you need to ensure you article still remains unique and doesn’t look as if its written by someone else.
2. Research Your Keywords.
Before you start posting anything, take your time to research on keywords. Yes it is tedious but its definitely worth the effort. If you are in the acne niche, don’t write unspecific titles like “Getting Rid of Acne”. Go to Google Keywords and search for Acne or Acne Prevention and see which keywords has high traffic. Do not go for keywords that have too much competition. I say go for those that has an average of 10,000 to 50,000 searches a month. If you go beyond that, it would be very difficult to get into the first few pages of search engines. So again to quote the above example, it is better to write something like “5 Steps To Reduce Acne Naturally”.
This applies to any niche and not just the acne niche.
Once you’ve chosen the right keyword. Try using it in your body(content) also. Do not repeat the main keyword too often. Try varying it and use them across your article. Search engines give more weight to your Title and the first few paragraphs of your article. Less emphasis is given to what’s at the bottom of your article.
3. Post it on Social Bookmarking Websites.
If you’ve heard of Onlywire or SocialBookmarker, use their services to instantly get your blog or articles on them. You will need to register to all the social bookmarking website but it is definitely worth the effort and your time. Do this consistently and you will see more traffic to your website and more backlinks. Most social bookmarking websites have very high traffic and good PR rankings.
4. Use Videos/YouTube
Videos have a much higher chance of getting good ranks then articles or content. You can supplement your blog with videos. You might notice that when you are searching for something like weight lost. You will find some videos on dieting and losing weight in the 1st page of Google. Again, do keyword research for your video title and make a good video. You don’t necessarily have to use YouTube. Other high traffic video websites include Metacafe, , or even Google Video.
You can also out links back to your blog or use these videos to pre-empt your blog post. Add links or call to action on your videos to direct your viewers to your website.
My Final Words
As you can see it does not have to take a lot of time to do a quality blog post. You don’t even have to do them every day. If you are willing to spend 30 minutes or so three times a week it can really pay off for you in terms of new traffic and repeat traffic to your Internet business.
To Your Success,

8 Essential Spring Cleaning Tips

8 Essential Spring Cleaning Tips

With spring in the air, there are so many things to look forward to: spring flowers, spring break, spring fashion, spring weather. And then there is spring cleaning. While cleaning your home from top to bottom is undoubtedly worth the time and energy, many people shy away (or run screaming in the opposite direction) from such a time-consuming and tedious task. But by following these spring cleaning tips – and hiring professionals for things like carpet cleaning, painting, or upholstery cleaning – the job ahead of you will look a lot less daunting (and your home will be spick and span).

1. Create a plan. Determine how much time you can devote to cleaning each day, and set it aside on your schedule. Next, decide what projects are the most important and tackle those first.

2. Stock up on supplies. Make sure that you have all the supplies and materials you’ll need to get the job done. Once you get rolling, the last thing you want is to run out of cleaning supplies. Be sure to use green, non-toxic products to keep your home and the environment safe.

3. Cleaning your carpets and rugs will make a huge difference in the appearance of your home. After all, your carpet has endured a winter’s worth of dirt and dust. Taking the time to clean the carpets or getting them cleaned by a professional carpet cleaning service will make a world of difference in the cleanliness of your home. Regularly cleaning carpets and rugs also helps reduce pesky allergens.

4. Upholstery should be professionally cleaned. After normal wear and tear, your furniture can begin to look soiled, making the entire room feel dingy. Professional carpet cleaning companies generally offer upholstery cleaning services.

5. Give your home a good dusting. Since dust has the nasty habit of collecting in hard to reach places like the tops of ceiling fans, light fixtures, and blinds and shutters, consider getting an extendable dusting wand.

6. Let in the light. Clean the interior and exterior of windows so the sun to shine through. This will make your home feel much brighter.

7. Clean your baseboards. It’s easy to miss dust and dirt on these things, since most of us don’t pay much attention to them.

8. Pay special attention to your tile and grout. A thorough cleaning can remove grime and bring your tile and grout back to its original color. Businesses that offer carpet cleaning services often also do professional tile and grout cleaning.

These 8 spring cleaning tips can help you make your home more healthy for your family and will make everything look and feel fresh again.…
